LOTS - Let's Open the Source - the name and the motto of the FOSS event taking place on Wednesday, 18. February 2004, at the premises of the University of Berne. LOTS represents a platform, that allows FOSS (Free/Opensource Software)-Developers to present high quality solutions to an interested audience of SMB, Service Providers, Government, Cantons, Communities and the Research & Development Area. A high level of exchange of ideas and thoughts, as well as the promotion of the OpenSource Idea and Business Relationships, are the main goals. The event should provide an alternative to technically oriented events and manager congresses, and is structured following a bottom-up approach.
